Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking compassionate, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Telehealth Call Center Agents to join our rapidly expanding healthcare support team. As a remote healthcare agent, you will be the first point of contact for patients across Canada, assisting with appointment scheduling, triaging calls, offering basic healthcare guidance, and providing exceptional service—all from the comfort of your home. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for healthcare, technology, and delivering empathetic support in a fast-paced virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for patients via phone, chat, or email to provide telehealth support.

  • Respond promptly to inquiries related to symptoms, medications, scheduling, and healthcare procedures.

  • Collect and verify patient information in compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards.

  • Triage patient needs and escalate cases appropriately to medical professionals or emergency services.

  • Schedule or reschedule appointments, follow up on pending cases, and provide status updates.

  • Document all interactions and maintain detailed patient records using healthcare CRM systems.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff and supervisors to ensure high-quality patient care.

  • Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, telehealth protocols, and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (French bilingualism is an asset).

  • Proficient in using virtual communication tools, CRM software, and teleconferencing platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional in emotionally charged situations.

  • High-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home office setup.

  • Ability to handle sensitive healthcare information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred).

Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center, customer service, or healthcare support role.

  • Prior experience in a telehealth or medical environment is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with HIPAA or Canadian healthcare privacy standards is considered an asset.

Working Hours
  • Full-time and part-time positions available.
