About the Role

We’re proud of our customer loyalty and rapid growth. As we scale our platform and deliver high-quality features in a fast-paced environment, we face the challenge of solving complex technical problems. We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to grow our product team.

Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills as engineers, understand how to build high-quality customer-facing software, enjoy working collaboratively with Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers, love building and scaling teams, and are values-driven, self-managed, curious, and resourceful.

What You'll Do

1. Lead a team of engineers, inspiring and motivating them to excel. This includes actively participating in coding, debugging, and design as we continue to build our platform.
2. Bring your technical expertise to evolve Highspot’s software architecture and stack to support hyper-growth, ensuring high availability and reliability across multiple global data centers.
3. Deliver products that maximize quality, security, and reliability, including building observable systems with actionable metrics and alerts.
4. Collaborate effectively with Designers, Product Managers, and TPMs, ensuring clear communication of decisions within and outside your team.
5. Mentor and develop engineers professionally and technically, enforcing accountability through relevant performance targets and providing timely feedback.
6. Uphold and enhance Highspot’s culture, ensuring an inclusive environment that meets DE&I goals and leads the industry in diversity and inclusion.

Your Background

• At least 8 years of experience in the tech industry, with hands-on experience in developing full-stack SaaS products.
• Minimum of 5 years in engineering leadership roles.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and scaling cloud-native applications across multiple regions.
• Interest and experience in attracting and retaining diverse engineering talent.
• Successful track record as a collaborative partner prioritizing team success.
• Experience managing highly engaged teams in a hybrid work environment.
• Ability to balance innovation investments with continuous customer experience improvements.

Base salary range: $196,000 - $265,000. Employees are eligible for stock options and other compensation.
