KPMG’s Business School (KBS) Audit is committed to building the knowledge and skills of audit professionals to maintain and uphold audit quality in client work. We are currently seeking an eager Learning Designer to join our team, offering strong opportunities for career development in web-based learning.

• Map technical course material (facilitator guides, slide decks, exercise materials) and apply instructional design principles to produce cohesive and effective courses (web-based and instructor-led) with measurable outcomes on audit and accounting topics, using rapid development tools.
• Manage course development, ensuring timelines are met and resources are used efficiently.
• Develop and maintain training forms, job aids, and related materials.
• Engage with clients, Subject Matter Experts, and stakeholders to ensure content and delivery align with business goals and learner needs.
• Test course effectiveness on the learning management system and document findings.
• Maintain project documentation and course folders.
• Serve as a technical resource for internally developed and presented programs.

Business needs may require employees to work beyond their normal hours, and our flexible approach supports work-life balance.

• Post-secondary Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Instructional Design and Adult Learning.
• 5+ years of proven experience in eLearning instructional design.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• 2+ years’ experience with Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline).
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Self-starter, flexible, able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and intellectual curiosity.
• Adept at relationship building and receptive to feedback.
• Programming skills are an asset.
• Familiarity with other eLearning tools like Captivate, Camtasia, Lectora, or similar is an asset.
• Audio/video editing skills are an asset.
• Understanding of French is an asset.

This role requires fluency in English, both written and oral, to support collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.

The expected base salary range is $73,000 to $109,500, potentially eligible for bonuses. Salary offers depend on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG also provides a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
