Job Description

• Create fun, engaging content and share your life with listeners as if you would your friends as part of the Bounce 99.9 Morning Show.
• Research and prep content that is relevant to Bounce listeners and present in an appropriate way on-air.
• Create captivating original and local digital content for Bounce 99.9’s website, social media platforms and the iHeartRadio app.
• Establish your presence in the vibrant Winnipeg market, cultivating community relationships, and engaging with Bounce listeners at events and remotes.
• Be the ultimate team player; attending regular programming meetings, assisting with commercial voicing for radio, TV and digital both in and out of market, and other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

Critical Qualifications

• A dynamic personality with strong on-air presentation and ability to relate to and excite the audience on-air, over text, and on social media.
• Strong social media track record of posting and interactions. Social networking skills (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, SMS, web knowledge) are a MUST!
• Education in broadcast journalism, broadcasting and/or a minimum relevant on-air or audio presenting experience.
• Previous on-air experience required, and recent morning show experience is an asset.
• Video and audio editing experience required.
• Working knowledge of Wide Orbit Automation system and VoxPro an asset.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
