Job summary
A regional transport company located in Airdrie, Alberta is looking for a dedicated Truck Driver to join their team. This permanent full-time position requires loading and unloading goods, operating trucks, and performing vehicle inspections. Candidates must have a secondary school graduation certificate and a valid driver's licence. The job involves handling heavy loads and may require extended travel. Qualifications

- Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform pre‑trip, en route and post‑trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
