A local sandwich shop in Saskatoon is seeking a Sandwich Artist to take orders, prepare food, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate must have great attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and in a team, and be flexible with working hours including evenings and weekends. Responsabilidades
- Take customers' orders and serve food items.
- Prepare food items using various equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and serving area.
Conocimientos
- Take customers' orders
- Clean, peel, slice and trim food using manual and electric appliances
- Use ovens, press, dispensers and other equipment to prepare food items such as sandwiches, salads, desserts, and other beverages
- Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on trays for service to patrons, and package take-out food
- Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea
- Serve customers at counters
- Stock refrigerators and keep records of the quantities of food used
- Receive payment for food items purchased
- Wash, cut and peel vegetables
- Wash work tables, cupboards and appliances
- Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
- Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas
- Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties
- Clear and clean tables and trays in eating establishments
- Replenish condiments and other supplies
- Remove dishes before and after customers leave
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand
- Place dishes in storage area
- Scour pots and pans, and may clean and polish silverware
- Other duties that apply
- Complete Subway training courses
- Attention to details

- Shiftwork is required at times
- Must own transportation to work
