Food Services Department

Works to ensure that campers are provided with outstanding dining experiences: hot, fresh, delicious and well-presented food combined with SWEET (Service With Excellence Every Time) guest service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food quality and appearance as per MBC Guest Food Service Standards including fresh baking, salad bar, soups, main buffet and staff meals
• Active participation in all areas of preparation, cooking and serving
• Ensure the kitchen is operated in a safest possible manner; food safety, staff health and safety
• Manage a weekly team of kitchen volunteers

Hours of Work

• 40-44 hours per week, June-September
• Physically demanding, heavy lifting involved, weekend work would be required

Compensation

• Hourly pay, based on experience plus 4% vacation pay
