In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. As the successful candidates you will work at our Central Distribution Center located in Nisku, Alberta, located just 4.2KM from Edmonton city limits.

  • Job location:Nisku, Alberta
  • Shift schedule:
    • Shift A: 5 x 2 - Monday – Friday (10:30AM-6:30PM)
    • Shift B: 4 x 3 – Tuesday – Friday (8:30AM- 6:30PM)
    • Shift C: 4 x 3 – Tuesday – Friday (12:00PM- 10:00PM)
    • Shift D: 8 x 6 – Wednesday – Wednesday (8:30AM- 6:30PM)
  • Safety sensitive position:Yes

Please Note: This is a temporary 12-month position with a possibility of long-term extension/conversion.

Key Accountabilities
  • Inventory Management: Accurately receive, store, and manage inventory while maintaining precise records of stock levels, product movement, and shipments
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while ensuring items are stored correctly to optimize space and ease of access
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack products for shipment according to orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates, as well as utilize and maintain the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Mill Test Reports (MTR)
  • Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and effectively
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure that all warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently, meeting or exceeding performance targets
What You Bring to the Role:
  • 3 plus years of warehouse or inventory experience within any industry (retail, transportation, commercial, shipping, courier, etc.),
  • 3 plus years of experience in forklift operation (Counterbalance, Narrow Aisle, Order Picker) and proficiency in warehouse management systems (E1, Maximo, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Parts or Materials Technician Apprentice/Journeyman Certification considered an asset
  • Experience with transportation management system (Oracle, 3GTMS, SAP, etc.) considered an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) considered an asset
