Job summary

A leading wholesale distributor of plumbing and HVAC products is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Moncton, New Brunswick. You will be responsible for loading and unloading products, receiving shipments, and ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment. Candidates should have previous warehouse experience and strong customer service skills. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a forklift certification is preferred.

What you will do
  • Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
  • Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy
  • Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner
  • Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment
  • Liaise with freight companies and inside / outside customers to determine shipping priorities
  • Obtain necessary shipping documentation related to the assigned route.
  • Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule.
  • Strap and / or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.
  • Unload products according to the destination’s applicable rules.
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.
What you will bring
  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
  • Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
  • Forklift certified or ability to be certified
  • WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset
  • Knowledge of industry (Plumbing and or HVAC) products is an asset
