Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring that all items are accounted for and correctly prepared for shipment.
  • Engage in material handling of both small and large parts, safely lifting, pushing, and pulling items up to 50 lbs.
  • Operate a stand-up reach forklift, if certified, to move and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all company policies and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory counts and management, ensuring accuracy and proper stock levels.
  • Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet daily quotas and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Follow all instructions from supervisors and management to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.
  • Handle repetitive tasks with a positive and focused attitude, maintaining a high standard of quality in all duties.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Warehouse Associate, material handler, or similar role.
  • Proven ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • The ability to speak, read, and understand English is required for safety and communication.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to and work in Cornwall, Ontario.
  • The flexibility and commitment to complete the entire contract duration (1-2 months).
  • Certification in operating a stand-up reach forklift is highly preferred.
  • A strong focus on safety and a clean work record.
