Waking Watch (Night Staff) - CQC, Cambian Shap Road

Contract type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £23,751.00

Location: Kendal and the NEW PROVISION, soon to open within the local area

Work pattern: 10pm to 8am – approximately 35 hours per week. Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off rolling shift.

Responsibilities
  • Join a growing team working across Cambian Shap Road and the new provision.
  • Support a group of young adults with learning disabilities and/or challenges within the autistic spectrum.
  • Assist residents to live as independently as possible and participate in life skills, activities and community life.
  • Work with a large supportive care team across Care, Therapeutic & Clinical services to deliver specialist residential services.
  • Contribute ideas to enrich residents’ lives, confidence and resilience.
  • Be a positive and consistent role model, flexible in shift patterns, and a good communicator and team player.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • No experience necessary*
  • Passion for improving the lives of others; innovative, engaging, enthusiastic and inspirational.
  • Flexible in working shifts, including days, evenings and weekends.
  • Career development and training opportunities; completion of Care Certificate (Level 2) and a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care are rewarded; full training provided.
