Yes, volunteers will receive 4 to 8 hours of training covering CareBridge's mission, communication best practices, documentation processes, and using relevant tools. Volunteers will assist with outreach, make calls, follow up with clients and partners, and gain hands‑on experience in social services. They will be mentored by staff and supported throughout the role, with flexibility and ongoing guidance.
Education & Certifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Post-secondary education in social work, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field is an asset but not mandatory. Certifications in community engagement, marketing, or volunteer management are a bonus (e.g., Google Marketing certifications, HubSpot certifications, etc.).
