Job description

We’re seeking a creative Video Editor to work in our Winnipeg Head Office, someone who loves to elevate productions through rhythm, color, sound, and motion. You’ll work with Marketing, News, Programming, and Sales to produce standout promos, commercials, and broadcast elements for on‑air and online. If you’re driven to experiment, collaborate, and elevate our brand with high-impact content, we want to see your work.

Highlights of this opportunity:

  • Edit material as a creative service to internal departments including but not limited to Marketing, News, Programming and Sales;
  • Create effective promotions based on supplied scripts and infuse video with appropriate emotional tone, flow, and creative balance;
  • Create motion graphics, animations and title sequences as assigned;
  • Assist with the integration of VizRT capabilities into the promotions department workflow.
Your accomplishments and experience include:
  • A diploma or certificate in a relevant field (e.g., communications, broadcasting, media production);
  • Experience with non-linear editing systems is required, Avid is an asset;
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud;
  • Familiarity with MediaCentral UX is an asset; (Training will be provided);
  • Knowledge of linear editing systems (tape-to-tape) would be an asset.
