Key Responsibilities
  • People Leadership – lead high‑performing teams, coach and develop others.
  • Organizational Awareness – engage the organization, handle complex change and enhance TD’s brand.
  • Business Acumen – understand the business from the ground up and key levers for superior results.
  • Strategic Insight – provide thought leadership, engage others and continuously improve.
  • Drive the strategic planning process for the global franchise and advise on growth and transformation.
  • Work closely with the CEO and CFO on medium‑term growth plans and key initiatives.
  • Establish, review and translate key strategic priorities into a comprehensive plan and monitor execution.
  • Analyze issues that affect profitability, growth and productivity, including key strategic risks.
  • Conduct industry and competitive landscape assessments, market share analysis and growth opportunities.
  • Advisory role in executing the wholesale banking strategy, framing clear initiatives and soliciting perspectives from leadership.
  • Build critical stakeholder relationships across TD Securities.
  • Collaborate with TDS business leaders to understand issues, create strategies for change and recommend actions.
  • Contribute to strategy sessions, workshops and deliver content and reports for the Dealer Leadership Team.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA, CFA a definite asset.
  • Over 10 years of capital markets consulting at a leading firm.
  • Broad financial management and strategic advisory experience with deep understanding of key financial drivers.
  • Advanced financial acumen to provide strategic insight and partner on a broad range of financial matters.
  • Comfort with ambiguous, ever‑changing situations and quantitative problem‑solving.
  • Resilient under pressure and balanced approach to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse group of professionals and influence others.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
