Job description

Fundy Harbour Group, based in Saint John, New Brunswick, is a full-service real estate organization driving progress and growth across New Brunswick. With expertise spanning property management, construction, and development, the company delivers transformative projects that shape communities - ranging from residential and mixed‑use developments to landmark revitalizations like Uptown Saint John’s City Hall redevelopment, the redevelopment of the Saint John waterfront at the Fundy Quay site and their recent acquisition and planned repositioning of Market Square. Guided by a mission to unlock the full potential of communities through strategic real estate projects, Fundy Harbour Group combines innovation, attention to detail, and a commitment to sustainability to create modern environments for tenants and businesses.

To help advance their mission, Fundy Harbour Group is seeking a Vice President of Operations – a senior executive responsible for driving operational excellence across its diverse portfolio. Reporting to the President, this role is responsible for driving efficiency, profitability, and growth while establishing scalable processes and SOPs to support expansion. As a key member of the executive team, the VP will oversee financial performance, mentor and develop high‑performing teams, and optimize property operations and asset management. Success in this role will be defined by strong financial acumen, exceptional people leadership, and the ability to deliver operational excellence through best practices and technology.

The ideal candidate is an experienced real estate operations executive or a property leader from an asset‑intensive operating environment such as hospitality, healthcare, or higher education who brings strategic vision paired with hands‑on execution. They thrive in managing complex portfolios and operational functions, with at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience. Demonstrating exceptional financial acumen and deep knowledge of property management and development, they have a proven track record of driving efficiency and growth. Known for mentoring and developing high‑performing teams, they foster a culture of accountability and collaboration while leveraging technology and data‑driven insights to optimize asset performance. Construction knowledge is considered an asset. Adaptable and results‑oriented, they excel at aligning operational priorities with long‑term business objectives and building strong stakeholder relationships.
