Responsible for leading organizational strategy, policy formulation, and resource allocation across various social service and non‑profit settings.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience in social service, charity agency, associations or non‑profit organizations.
  • Budgetary responsibility for $1,500,001 – $4,000,000.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Valid driver’s licence; own vehicle; willing to travel.
Responsibilities
  • Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Co‑ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments.
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Represent or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization in negotiations or official functions.
  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate authority and create optimum working conditions.
  • Provide staff training and development.
  • Plan and coordinate social services, apprenticeship training, and community service programs.
  • Oversee finances or budget management and ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Coach and coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies and programs.
  • Identify human resources requirements and manage benefits administration.
  • Make decisions on tests and procedures, and direct the delivery of social and community service programs.
  • Develop social programs.
