Vending Attendant

Vending Attendants support the Vending Lead in preparing, organizing, and maintaining vending kitchen operations to ensure a seamless event-day experience for all Vendors. They assist with pre-event setup, product distribution, and restocking during service, ensuring all items meet Legends’ quality, safety, and presentation standards. Vending Attendants play a key role in supporting efficient service by maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring work areas remain clean and organized, and communicating effectively with Vending Leads, Vendors, and Warehouse staff.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $19.30

The Role Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare and stage products, supplies, and equipment for Vendors prior to event start.
  • Support Vending Leads with product distribution, restocking, and collection of inventory during and after events.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within vending kitchens in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Monitor product quality, temperature, and freshness, following Legends’ food safety and handling policies.
  • Assist in counting, recording, and reconciling inventory before, during, and after events.
  • Communicate effectively with Vendors, Leads, and Warehouse staff to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
  • Safely handle food, beverages, and materials, following all company, facility, and government regulations.
  • Dispose of waste and recyclables responsibly, maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
  • Perform duties with professionalism, teamwork, and guest service in mind at all times.

Knowledge, Education, & Experience
  • Prior experience in food service, concessions, or warehouse operations is an asset.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
  • Smart Serve and Food Handlers certification an asset.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
Physical Demands
  • Extensive walking and stair climbing while carrying products and equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry beverage trays, coolers, or vendor racks weighing up to 40–50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting to support Vendors and prepare items.
  • Must work outdoors and indoors, exposed to varying weather and crowd conditions.
  • Requires clear vision and speech to communicate effectively and handle products safely.
