Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a UX Designer IV for their Toronto, ON/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities
- Stakeholders
- On Figma and designing
- Connect with the manager and doing reviews
- Participate in planning and facilitating Design Thinking sessions with stakeholders
- Close collaboration with business and other experience design strategy teams to ensure that design intent is achieved
- Advocate for the customer throughout the project lifecycle
- Obsess over details and insist on iterating until got it right.
- Transform complex problems into elegant experiences
- Ideation, concept development and experience innovation
- Creation of sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes, scenarios and storyboards
- Close collaboration with development teams to ensure that design intent is achieved
- Advocate for the user throughout the project lifecycle
- Stay abreast of current design methodologies, practices and trends
- Participation in observational studies, usability testing and other customer research
- Effective communication of conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design approaches/rationales
Requirements
- Wireframes and prototypes – 5 duration
- Figma - 3 years
- UX designer –7 years
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- A degree in design or a design‑related discipline (industrial design, user‑centered design, design strategy, design management, human factors, human‑computer interaction, etc.). 5+years of experience as a UX designer – OCAD
- Years of overall experience: 5-7 plus years
- Public site experience – banking, sketches, wireframes, specifications, prototypes
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of non‑registered and registered savings products such as RESPs, RRSPs, TFSAs and FHSAs
- A degree in design or a design‑related discipline (industrial design, user‑centred design, design strategy, design management, human factors, human‑computer interaction, etc.)
- 5+years of experience as a UX designer
- Ability to work with and simplify complicated Flows
- Ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling customer experiences
- Contributes to shaping the strategic experience design approach for projects and initiatives
- Strong prototyping skills demonstrated through various techniques: sketch, paper, wireframe, video, or interactive prototypes
- Expert with design tools such as Figma, Axure and Adobe’s Creative Suite
- Understanding of web and mobile technologies
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Organization, logic, and analytical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to ask good questions and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to communicate ideas to a diverse audience and constructively integrate feedback
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well in a team environment

- Experience in the investing and/or insurance industries
