A leading insurance company in Toronto seeks an Underwriter to manage Inland Marine and Cargo business. Responsibilities include underwriting, pricing negotiations, and collaboration with various teams. This position will underwrite Inland Marine and Cargo business within the Commercial Insurance department for Chubb Canada. This position will principally be responsible for both new business production as well as the underwriting, administration and operation of an existing portfolio of Inland Marine and Cargo business. Ideally, this Underwriter will underwrite ocean cargo, fine arts, contractors’ equipment, motor truck cargo, transit, installation floaters, equipment dealers, and other marine coverages. The position will be responsible for driving profitable growth within the Canadian Region and work in conjunction with the Commercial Insurance underwriting teams across the country.
