Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision and compassion, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate patient diagnosis. This role requires a strong understanding of maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and medical imaging techniques. The Ultrasound Technologist will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Duties
  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including obstetric, gynecologic, and other specialized imaging as required.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining patient care standards.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment utilizing advanced sonography techniques while adhering to aseptic protocols.
  • Analyze images for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments to optimize diagnostic results.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, findings, and patient information in accordance with medical records policies.
  • Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results and assist in diagnosis processes.
  • Follow strict infection control practices, including aseptic technique, to ensure patient safety.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in medical imaging, anatomy knowledge, and physiology relevant to ultrasound technology.
Experience
  • Proven experience in maternal-fetal medicine or obstetric/gynecologic sonography is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to ultrasound imaging.
  • Hands‑on experience with medical imaging equipment and diagnostic radiology procedures.
  • Familiarity with patient care practices, communication skills for patient interaction, and the ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
  • Prior experience demonstrating proficiency in aseptic technique, medical terminology, and detailed understanding of anatomy is preferred.
