- Salary: $36.50 hourly / 32 to 40 hours per week

Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience
7 months to less than 1 year
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
Tasks
- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Professionalism in customer service
- Load and unload goods
- Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Pay and receive payments for goods
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
