Qualifications

Overview

Handyman Connection - Kitchener/Waterloo is a locally owned and operated, well established Home Improvement Company serving the community for more than 20 years. We have an immediate need for a skilled finish carpenter providing a professional service to our customers. Trim, Doors, and hardware are the most common requests.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues and present a description of a work order to a customer.
• Installation of various trims, hang doors and door hardware, and framing of interior walls
• Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
• Design and construction of decks and fences
• Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects

Qualifications

• Driver's License and Insurance
• Your own tools, vehicle, and good references
• Experience in the remodeling or home repair trades (5+ years of direct experience)
• General Liability insurance (Preferred but not required)
• Must pass a screening process
• Must have a smartphone and access to the internet
• Registered with WSIB (Preferred but not required)
