Job summary

A leading dance media company is seeking skilled Sports Videographers/Camera Operators to join their seasonal team. This role involves nationwide travel to capture and stream dance competitions, recitals, and workshops. Responsibilities include operating video equipment, managing live streams, and ensuring top-notch media quality. Candidates should have experience with live events and strong technical camera skills, along with physical capability for the job. Training will be provided, and all travel and accommodation costs will be covered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Canadian driver’s license.
• Able to work long hours and travel Wednesday to Monday as needed.
• Must pass a Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector check.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate video, audio, and streaming equipment on-site.
• Conduct daily video/audio checks to ensure broadcast quality.
• Film and log performances, manage live streams, and upload daily footage.
• Handle data transfers after events.

Skills

Experience filming live events, sports, or action performances

Strong technical skills with camera operation

Able to lift 50 lbs

Comfortable with loud music and flashing lights
