Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Communicate design concepts and details effectively to team members and clients
• Assist in analyzing engineering problems and design deficiencies, recommending solutions
• Prepare road and highway designs and drawings using CAD and transportation software
• Develop construction contract documents and specifications
• Conduct civil construction project inspections
• Support your growth within a transportation engineering environment through additional duties

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technologist program
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation sector, specializing in roads and highways design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil3D software
• Experience with civil construction projects is an asset
• Knowledge of MMCD documents and certification as a Contract Administrator is an asset
• Strong Word and Excel skills
• Understanding of transportation planning, design, and municipal services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
