About the Role

As a Transportation Manager with Pavestone LLC, you are responsible for:

  • Oversight of the Transportation Operations Personnel
  • Setting up Loads to be Delivered to our Customers Utilizing Internal & External Fleet
  • Maintaining a Base of Carriers while Negotiating Delivery Rates
  • Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures
  • Utilize TMS system (After Being Trained)
  • Working with Plant & Sales to Ensure Timely Deliveries
  • Coordinating Routing with Drivers, Outside Carriers, and/or A Dispatcher
  • Ensuring On-Time Freight Delivery
  • Troubleshooting Any Problems (as they occur)
  • Hiring and Development of Drivers
  • Adhering to DOT Safety Regulations and Maintaining all DOT & OSHA Requirements
  • Conducting and Leading Weekly / Monthly Safety Meetings with the Drivers

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Use Microsoft Office Products Fluently
  • Generate and Document Reports that Explain our Trucking Operations Accurately
  • Use their Working Knowledge of Electronic Time Logs, GPS, and TMS Systems
  • Be an Example of Great Customer Service for their Team
