Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in the electric utility industry with experience in substation design and power system studies.
• Strong understanding of transmission, distribution, and generation.
• Comfortable researching and learning new technologies independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for transmission projects and customer connection projects.
• Create and review Project Data Update Packages (PDUP) for modeling.
• Develop facility scope and cost estimates for transmission projects.
• Review service proposals and advanced technical study reports.

Skills

Experience in the electric utility industry

Familiarity with transmission major equipment

Python coding

Strong communication skills

Education

B.Sc. Electrical Engineering

Registered or eligible for registration with APEGA
