Job Description & Summary

In transfer pricing customs and international trade at PwC you will focus on providing guidance and support to clients on cross-border transaction matters. Your work will focus on helping businesses navigate customs regulations optimize duty management and ensure compliance with international trade laws. Youll support clients in structuring their global supply chains efficiently mitigating risks related to import / export activities and resolving customs-related disputes. While transfer pricing may intersect with your work your primary focus will be on delivering strategic insights and practical solutions in the areas of customs valuation tariff classification and trade facilitation.

Meaningful work youll be part of

As a Transfer Pricing Customs Manager youll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to :

Conduct detailed customs compliance analyses and identify duty savings opportunities

Draft technical reports memos and government filings with accuracy and clarity

Coordinate project tasks timelines and team contributions across jurisdictions

Communicate directly with clients on operational matters and data requests

Implement compliance solutions and support clients through post-project follow-up

Prepare audit responses and voluntary disclosures with supporting documentation

Leverage technology and data tools to streamline analysis and reporting

Mentor junior team members and review their work for accuracy and development

Maintain internal tools templates and contribute to knowledge sharing

Support internal initiatives and help enhance practice capabilities

Experience and skills youll use to solve

Strong practical experience in customs and trade compliance

Solid understanding of tariff classification valuation and origin rules

Recognized certifications (e.g. CCS CTCS) or relevant education

Skilled in drafting technical documents and regulatory submissions

Proficient in Excel and comfortable with trade-related software tools

Proven ability to manage data-heavy projects and deliver accurate results

Effective communicator with clients and internal teams

A detail-oriented collaborative and technology first to problem-solving

Salary and Benefits

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information

The salary range

  • for this position is $ -82.30000 - 109.70000 - $137.00000 CAD Annual plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills experience qualifications and geographic location.
  • Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region . Given our national recruiting approach we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location . PwC is committed to competitive compensation and sharing salary ranges in accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation as they arise.
