Job description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright on a full time temporary (8 month) basis at our Co‑op Refinery Complex (CRC). This role requires onsite work located in Regina, SK.

Shift: 4 days on, then 3 days off -37.33 Hours/week

What you’ll do:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of compressors, pumps, blowers, pressure safety valves, high‑speed packaging assemblies, and other rotating equipment.
  • Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
  • Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:

  • Have a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic/Millwright level qualification.
  • Have a minimum of four years’ experience directly related to the required duties of the trade at the Complex.
  • A good working knowledge of refinery operations and practices; this would be considered an asset.

This is a unionized role that resides with UNIFOR Canada Local 594 offering a wage of $66.94 hourly. As a union member, you would be subject to pay union dues as part of the collective agreement.
