Job Description
- Design, develop, and execute test scenarios and automated test scripts for rating/pricing models and integrations.
- Validate Earnix pricing models, rating algorithms, and configuration changes against business and actuarial requirements.
- Perform API testing, data validation, and end‑to‑end flow testing across Earnix, Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter, and digital self‑serve applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, actuaries, and developers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and performance of rating solutions.
- Contribute to shift‑left testing, CI/CD automation, and best practices in Quality Engineering.
- Monitor and validate production deployments, ensuring quality standards are met before and after releases.
- Document test scripts, results, and defects clearly; ensure traceability of requirements to testing outcomes.
- Leverage strong knowledge to understand technical solutions to build optimized test approaches, inclusive of the tooling strategy.
- Strong knowledge of test data management to reuse automated test data provisioning capabilities.
- Work collaboratively with the development team to define and validate user stories, acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD) / Ready (DoR).
- Apply the principles of behavior / Test Driven Development (BDD / TDD) and focus on value driven outcomes.
- Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to quality engineering activities.
- Analyze, develop, debug, execute and maintain complex automated test cases.
- Work with the Agile team to drive test planning, test preparation and test execution activities in adherence to standards for system testing, system integration testing, production acceptance testing and production validation.
- Create quality manual and automation test scripts using tools like Selenium/Java, Rest Assured/Parasoft SOA Test.
- Lead test planning, preparation and execution activities.
- Ability to create optimized test assets and deliver holistic test coverage.
- Coordinate testing planning and support with partners (e.g. business, development and Infrastructure).
- Create lean test documentation as required and get sign‑off (e.g. test strategies, plans, schedule, cost estimates, test cases, defect logs, test phase closure reports and entry/exit criteria).
- Pro‑actively look to make continuous improvements to test coverage, execution and automation.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices in Quality Engineering.
- Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium/Java, Rest Assured, and SOA test tools.
- Experience with rating/pricing platforms, preferably Earnix or similar ecosystems.
- Ability to understand and validate rating algorithms and pricing models.
- Familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
