Midland Transport is currently seeking a Terminal Manager for our Corner Brook, NL Terminal. Reporting to the Senior Director of Atlantic Operations, the Terminal Manager is responsible for all operational areas while ensuring efficiencies and on-time service goals are met.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the attainment of; budgeted cost, safety, service, quality and utilization metrics for the transport and/or courier operations at the terminal.
  • Responsible for managing direct reports to achieve or exceed budgeted performance.
  • Accountable for the achievement of employee engagement at the Terminal.
  • Responsible for demonstrating excellent leadership characteristics and the Irving Values.
  • Responsible for the implementation of the Irving Management System and a culture of continuous improvement at the Terminal.
  • Responsible for the development, coaching and mentoring of direct reports.
  • Accountable for the development and coaching of indirect reports at the Terminal.
Qualifications
  • You have 5-7 Years of supervisory/management experience with responsibilities in operation (Asset)
  • You have Transportation industry experience
  • You have a post-Secondary degree in Business Management (Asset)
  • You have energy, enthusiasm, and a professional demeanor
  • You have strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • You have exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
