Position

Temporary Sales Support Associate

Responsibilities
  • Cash Wrap: greet customers, engage with eye contact and name, read cues to determine needs, collect emails/names where permitted by law, operate POS accurately, maintain cash wrap organization and cleanliness, suggest add-ons and sell gift cards, ensure POS media compliance, thank customers and provide reason to return, and represent the Coach brand appropriately.
  • Stockroom / Warehouse: receive shipments and transfers, notify Store Management on new product arrivals, scan cartons/transfers and verify information, communicate discrepancies, process shipments per Coach standards and timeframes, organize and clean stock room daily (including offsite/remote warehouses as applicable), shift/organize product for sell-through, manage stock levels back-of-house and on the sales floor, conduct regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventories, and maintain Loss Prevention standards.
  • Sales Floor: regularly analyze replenishment needs, replenish floor zones, respond to sell-through, execute visual merchandising, support floor activities as directed, communicate product features/price points/color/stock availability to customers, respond to customer requests confidently and coordinate with Sales Team or Store Management as needed, maintain housekeeping standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience: 1-3 years of previous retail experience (cashier/stock, sales, etc.), preferably in a luxury retail service environment. Knowledge of fashion trends and market competition.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (including iPad/laptop use, Mobile POS, Internet), walkie talkie proficiency, ability to read price and product release sheets.

Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace; effective communication with customers and team; ability to move around the sales floor, stock room, and shelves; ability to climb, bend, kneel; ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds for shipments/transfers.

Schedule: Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays with high retail traffic events (e.g., day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, etc.).
