A regional school board in Kitchener is seeking a Temporary Facility Supervisor to oversee custodial and maintenance personnel across multiple schools. The role involves ensuring safe and clean environments for students and staff. The successful candidate will have a Secondary School Graduation Diploma and at least three years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in an educational setting. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential. This position offers a salary range of $75,833 - $92,165 and requires full-time commitment.
Reporting to the Facility Services Manager, the Temporary Facility Supervisor is responsible for supervising custodial, maintenance and contracted staff at 25 to 35 schools. The incumbent will work collaboratively with other members of the Facility Services team to ensure that the Board’s buildings are operated efficiently to provide a clean, comfortable, and safe learning and working environment for all users.
The successful applicant for this Temporary Educational Support Staff position, Level G ($75,833 - $92,165) will work 40 hours per week, 12 months per year, effective October 1, 2025 - August 31, 2026.
