Job summary

A leading Canadian infrastructure firm is hiring a Project Designer in Toronto to develop high-level telecom designs for FTTH and OSP infrastructure builds. You will work with survey data and engineering inputs to create accurate plans, validate utilities, and manage submissions for municipal consent. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of telecom design experience and strong proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS systems. This role offers a collaborative environment focused on innovation and sustainability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of telecom design experience with emphasis on High-Level Design (HLD).
• Ability to read base maps and utility records.
• Understanding of aerial vs. underground constructability is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop FTTH/OSP/ISP High-Level Designs including routing.
• Validate base mapping and flag conflicts early.
• Package HLDs for Document Control and coordinate submissions.
