Job Summary

The Automotive Technician will be responsible for completing vehicle inspections, electrical work, GPS installations, and approved repairs utilizing industry-leading software & tools in our new state-of-the-art facility. The successful candidate will possess the willingness and ability to maintain current product and technical knowledge, the ability to estimate time of service and repair needed, and to diagnose and complete the required work right the first time.

Reporting Relationship

This position reports directly to the Shop Foreman.

Responsibilities
  • Complete vehicle inspections, electrical work, GPS installations, and approved repairs
  • Utilize industry-leading software & tools in a state-of-the-art facility
  • Estimate time of service and repair required
  • Diagnose and complete required work right the first time
Qualifications
  • Apprentices with Level 3 or above are encouraged to apply
  • Comfortable leveraging technology for most day-to-day repairs
  • Proficiency in general computer usage is preferred
  • High attention to detail with proven time management and organizational skills
  • Experience doing Safeties
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license, a clear driver’s abstract, and transportation to and from work
