Job description
Position Overview

We are seeking a hands‑on Technical Marketing Manager to create and deliver technical content that showcases Autodesk’s Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions for the design and manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities
  • Build, update, and maintain live demo environments for Autodesk Fusion, Fusion Manage, Vault, and connected PDM/PLM workflows.
  • Record product walkthroughs, feature highlight videos, and practical “how‑to” content for campaigns, launches, and web usage.
  • Produce technical marketing materials including tutorials, workflow guides, feature summaries, customer examples, and solution briefs.
  • Create visuals such as screen captures, animations, diagrams, and workflow illustrations.
  • Support product releases by documenting new features and generating corresponding demo scripts, videos, and web‑ready content.
  • Contribute tangible assets for marketing campaigns, webinars, industry events, and partner programs—such as demo videos, screen captures, presentation animations, and technical FAQs.
  • Prepare and deliver live product demonstrations for virtual sessions, customer‑facing events, and internal briefings.
  • Stay up to date on Autodesk’s PDM/PLM roadmap and new capabilities, quickly turning updates into customer‑facing content.
  • Test new workflows and document repeatable steps that demonstrate how features function in real design/manufacturing environments.
  • Gather user feedback from field teams to improve demo scenarios and existing content.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting live demos.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in technical marketing, product marketing, solution engineering, or hands‑on technical roles within design/manufacturing software.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce videos, demos, tutorials, documentation, or similar technical assets (Camtasia and Adobe Premiere).
  • Practical experience working with Autodesk CAD, PDM, and PLM tools—Autodesk Fusion, Fusion Manage, or Vault preferred; familiarity with competitive systems (SOLIDWORKS, Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA, Arena) is a strong plus.
  • Actively uses AI tools to speed up research, content creation, demo development, competitive analysis, and narrative building; brings an experimentation mindset and continuously finds ways to use AI.
  • Ability to learn new features, test workflows, troubleshoot issues, and create accurate technical content with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with engineering design tools (CAD) and understanding of workflows like change management, BOM structures, and manufacturing release processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, design, manufacturing, marketing, business, or equivalent experience.
Benefits
  • Insurance: Health/Dental/Vision/Life
  • Work‑Life Balance
  • Paid volunteer time off
  • 6‑week paid sabbatical every 4 years
  • Employee Resource Groups
  • A “week of rest” at year’s end
