Job Description

TECHNICAL ARCHITECT

The candidates need to travel to Vancouver, Canada initially for 6-8 weeks. Later, the candidate can work from US (Candidate can work from his home location).

UI Architect:

Must Have:

Good to have:

  • Require JS, Underscore JS, JSHint, Moments JS, Quartz, Jackson, Google guava, Apache Commons, Atmosphere & Google protocol buffer.

Basic knowledge

Spring Framework, HighChart, HighStock, Hibernate, Hibernate Validator & RESTful web service.

Must Have:

  • Java/J2EE, Spring MVC Framework, Tomcat web server, RESTful Web Service, Hibernate, Jason and XML, Good knowledge in SQL/PL-SQL, Eclipse, Quartz, Jackson, Google guava, Apache Commons, Atmosphere & Google protocol buffer

Good to have:

  • Experience in Open Layer or Google Map, Charting components like HighChart/HighStock

Description: Technical Architect- Backend

The candidate will operate in a Technology Architecture role in a systems delivery environment. The candidate will have the responsibility for the technical direction of high impact / highly available solutions, delivery of complex technical components, and a relentless focus on the delivery of high quality work products.

Typically based out of client site, a portion of the role is comprised of communication with clients of varying seniority. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, with the successful candidate demonstrating a delivery track record of complex technology solutions in a client-facing environment.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Engagement with business and IT users in analyzing and defining non-functional requirements and associated technology solutions.
  • Should have very good experience in Agile methodology.
  • Should be able to create the low level technical documents.
  • Responsible for performing assessments of existing systems and making recommendations for future directions
  • Should be able to work with the Onsite Team (client) and arrive at the DB solution.
  • Should be able to define and design the APIs for UI integration with the back end.
  • Design, Build and Test of components that are medium to complex in nature, including delivery of new technical architecture components.
  • Managing issues and risks, with escalation to client / Harman management as required.
  • Support development teams as required to ensure successful delivery of projects, particularly when introducing new technologies
  • Client management, estimation and status reporting under area of responsibility.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior resources.
