Midland Transport Limited is looking for professional Team Truck Drivers who take pride in safety, reliability and delivering exceptional services. If you and your driving partner enjoy steady miles, modern equipment, and predictable routes, this role offers the stability of scheduled linehaul runs with the earning potential of team driving.

As a Team Driver, you will operate modern tractor‑trailers on dedicated long‑haul Michelin routes from the Maritimes to South Carolina – two trips each run and three days off between runs. It is a planned route, consistent freight, and a professional fleet environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class 1 tractor‑trailer safely and efficiently on scheduled long‑haul team routes.
  • Run dedicated or scheduled linehaul lanes.
  • Conduct pre‑trip, en route, and post‑trip inspections.
  • Secure and handle freight safely using proper load securement practices.
  • Maintain accurate electronic logs, trip records, and documentation.
  • Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers.
  • Deliver freight on time, damage‑free, and professionally.
  • Comply with all transportation regulations, company safety standards, and hours‑of‑service rules.
  • Work collaboratively with your driving partner to maximize efficiency and rest cycles.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License (Canada).
  • Minimum of four (4) years of professional tractor‑trailer driving experience in North America (team or long‑haul preferred).
  • Mountain or winter driving experience.
  • Clean driver’s abstract and criminal record search.
  • Ability to cross the Canada‑United States border (FAST card or eligibility).
  • Electronic logging system (ELD) and satellite system experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform freight handling tasks.
  • Strong safety mindset and defensive driving habits.
  • Clear communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong on‑time performance history.
  • Must have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
