When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
An inventory is a selection process that can be used by various hiring managers to meet their current and future needs. As a result, you will apply only once to be considered for opportunities.
Your application in this inventory will be active for 120 days. A notice that your application is about to expire will be posted to the My Jobs Menu of your account 20 days before the end of your active period. It is important that you monitor your e-mail and resubmit your application when prompted, or your application will be removed from the inventory. This ensures that the information that is provided to hiring managers is current and up-to-date, as well as ensuring that the candidates in the inventory are still interested in employment. You can click on the link in the e-mail to access your account, and you will have a message informing you that your application is set to expire. Click on “Update My Inventory Status” to resubmit your application.
Once your application has been successfully submitted to the inventory, your status may be : "Date of disclosure of results : Listed in the inventory". This automatically generated message by the system means that your application can be considered. You will be informed in the event that your application is considered as part of a process generated from this inventory.
Simply update them in the "Personal Information" section, in the "My Job File" menu of your account. This will allow us to have your current contact information and ensure adequate follow-up in the event that your application is considered as part of a process issued from this inventory.
You can choose to update your application when you resubmit it to the inventory, or anytime that something changes that will impact your application. For example, if you gain more experience in an area that is related to the qualifications outlined in the inventory, it would be beneficial to update your application to reflect this. Since hiring managers screen applications based on the information you provided in the screening questions, it is recommended that you include experience gained after you initially submitted your application to ensure they have all of the relevant information. This also applies to changes in your education level or any of the answers you provided to the screening questions.
Most of the criteria will apply to both streams. The criteria for one stream will be clearly identified.
Your resume may be used to validate the information provided in the screening questions.
Note that casual employment is temporary in nature and casuals can only work up to a maximum of 90 calendar days in a given calendar in a given department.
You will be contacted to complete required documentation and obtain valid reliability security clearance. Please note : failure to complete the required documentations in a timely manner could delay time of hire
Once all of the requirements are met your name will then be added to the casual supply list which will be used by the Principals at Six Nations to meet their daily coverage needs.
Your salary as a Teacher or Teacher Aide is determined based on the EB collective agreement, your years of experience validated via confirmation of employment letters, and your education credentials (additional qualifications).
