Do you have a passion for taxation and want to grow in a dynamic international environment?
A company located in East Montreal is looking for a Tax Analyst to support its global tax activities. Reporting to the Tax Director, you will contribute to a variety of tasks related to compliance, tax accounting, sales taxes (Canada and U.S.), audits, and international taxation.

Your responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of income tax returns for group entities.

Participate in the calculation of tax provisions and respond to auditor requests during the year-end closing process.

Actively contribute to the management of domestic and international tax audits.

Maintain tax accounts and perform periodic reconciliations.

Work closely with HR and Payroll teams to ensure compliance with withholding requirements for non-residents.

Prepare and file sales and use tax returns for Canadian and U.S. entities.

Support tax analysis of various business transactions in accordance with local and international regulations.

Assist with transfer pricing calculations.

Take part in special projects related to acquisitions, tax restructuring, or the digital transformation of the finance department.

What we're looking for:

University degree in Accounting or Taxation; CPA designation is an asset.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in taxation, including exposure to U.S. and international tax matters.

Strong understanding of U.S. tax concepts in a multinational corporate context.

Ability to conduct complex tax research and interpret legislation effectively.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.

Comfortable using Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables.

Knowledge of Microsoft D365 and/or Power BI is an asset.
