A public education institution in Alberta is seeking an Elementary Indigenous Education Teacher for grades 1 to 5. The role includes delivering culturally responsive curriculum and supporting Indigenous students. Candidates should have a deep understanding of Indigenous culture, strong pedagogical skills, and the ability to create inclusive learning environments. Lethbridge School Division is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team as the Elementary Indigenous Education Teacher (grades 1 to 5). The successful candidate will report to the Coordinator of Indigenous Education and will be responsible for the delivery of academic, vocational and leadership building, within a culturally sensitive context for all students in the Division while supporting meaningful relationships specifically with students of Indigenous ancestry. They will support holistic learning in areas such as cultural teachings, traditions and spirituality through the Alberta Program of Studies, First Nations Métis and Inuit Outcomes.
