Are you an experienced QA leader who thrives in complex, enterprise-level testing environments?

We’re hiring a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to drive quality strategies for a large-scale government digital platform – supporting mission-critical compliance and oversight programs that serve Ontarians.

Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite in Toronto | 2 days remote within Ontario

Contract: 260 business days with potential for extension (1 time)

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage testing strategies, plans, and execution for both manual and automated testing
  • Oversee and coordinate quality assurance across multiple application components, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements
  • Develop test scripts, cases, and automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Katalon
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, load, performance, and accessibility testing
  • Manage defect tracking and resolution in Jira, coordinating triage with developers and business analysts
  • Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality at every stage of the SDLC
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and issue resolution
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer, ensuring all documentation and artefacts are maintained in ministry repositories
Qualifications
  • 10+ years experience planning, organizing, and implementing testing for complex enterprise systems
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices
  • Proven expertise creating and executing test strategies, test cases, and automation scripts
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, Katalon, and API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured
  • Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services, and SQL for database validation
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with AODA compliance tools (AXE, WAVE)
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
  • Background in testing multi-tenant enterprise platforms or regulatory / compliance systems
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex defects and optimize QA processes
