Qualifications

• Equivalent experience as a Systems Administrator, Service Desk Support, or Systems Engineer.
• Experience with Operational Technology such as PLC, SCADA.
• Customer-focused and proactive with strong communication skills.

Job description

As a Systems Administrator at Mr Apple’s Whakatu Head Office, you’ll provide day‑to‑day technical coverage across the business, ensuring reliable and secure IT services.

This permanent, full‑time role offers the chance to grow your technical expertise, contribute to the ongoing improvement of Mr Apple’s IT environment alongside likeminded peers, and be part of New Zealand’s largest apple exporter.

What You’re Doing

• Ensure reliable ICT services & manage backups
• Support server & network configurations
• Increase your knowledge in security, Azure, and VMware vSphere through provided training and certification pathways

What You Bring

• Equivalent experience as a Systems Administrator, Service Desk Support or Systems Engineer
• Experience with Operational Technology such as PLC, SCADA
• Problem‑solving mindset, a passion to deep dive through issues & an eagerness to learn
• Strong communication & teamwork skills
