Shuswap Lake General Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Switchboard Cashier Admitting Clerk to join their team in Salmon Arm B.C.!

This position works rotating days & evenings 07 : 00 to 15 : 00, 07 : 30 to 15 : 30, 15 : 00 to 23 : 00, 15 : 30 to 19 : 30

Days off : rotating

What Will You Work On?

This position performs a variety of clerical duties associated with operating the switchboard, receiving and registering patients, processing accounts receivable and other related clerical duties as assigned. Records and accounts for payments received in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • A 5-minute typing test (45+ NWPM) from a recognized institution, completed within the past 48 months (non-supervised tests not accepted). for testing details.
  • Your Resume outlining one year recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
  • A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).
