Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard?

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalat in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Strong interpersonal skills and radio communication required to document the entry and exit of vehicles.

Location: L9G 3K9

Shift Times: Saturday-Sunday 1200-0000 (24 hours per week)

Pay rate: $19.00

• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and checkvisitoridentification
• Radio dispatch office to advise of arrivals and departures.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology - Excel, Outlook, radio communications, custom software
• Ability to do regular foot patrols in all weather
