Qualifications
- A high-school diploma is required along with 6 months of related work experience.
- Knowledge of health-care procedures and mechanical equipment is essential.
- Post-secondary education in Social Services may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned or prescribed duties related to services and supports.
- Support assessment of day-to-day needs and implement life plans.
- Provide personal and physical care, including medication administration.
- Liaise with friends and family to address needs.
- Support life skills training and provide emotional support.
