Overview

Pay rate from: £13.73 an hour, weekly pay. Reference: SW/Folkestone/4. Role: Support Worker in Dover with Jane Lewis. An exciting opportunity to support a range of individuals with varying needs in settings including nursing homes and learning disability services.

As a Support Worker you would be part of a team delivering compassionate care and helping service users maintain independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation and medication management.
  • Promote independence and a sense of well-being among service users.
  • Build rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities.
Qualifications
  • Be over the age of 18 to apply.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Be a UK resident (sponsorship not available).
  • Have 6 months prior experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector.
  • Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities.
  • Have a genuine passion for working in the healthcare sector.
