The shift pattern for this post is:

Monday - Friday office based.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our Respiratory service based at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) Glasgow to support the Lung Cancer service wider respiratory team.

  • You will be expected to provide efficient and effective medical secretarial support to consultants and associated medical/nursing staff.
  • You should have an awareness of medical terminology and have a high degree of typing speed and accuracy.
  • It is desirable the candidates have experience in using Trakcare, Winscribe and Clinical Portal.
  • The ability to work under pressure, managing deadlines and responding to changing priorities is essential.
  • The post holder should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office to set up documents and maintain and update databases/spreadsheet.
