Horizon Recruitment Inc is conducting a search for a Supply Chain Manager on behalf of a fast-growing organization with a complex, end-to-end supply chain. This role is critical to the company’s continued growth and operational effectiveness, with responsibility spanning procurement, planning, inventory, production and delivery.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and executing the supply chain strategy, ensuring products and services move through the organization efficiently, cost‑effectively, and on schedule. This position is well suited for a hands‑on leader who is comfortable balancing strategic planning with day‑to‑day execution in a dynamic operating environment.

Responsibilities
  • Build and evolve supply chain workflows that support reliable, accurate, and timely fulfillment across the business.
  • Define planning assumptions and lead‑time expectations to support demand visibility and service commitments.
  • Oversee sourcing, inventory flow, storage, and transportation activities in response to changing operational needs.
  • Maintain inventory integrity through structured controls, regular audits, and root‑cause resolution of variances.
  • Work closely with internal planning and service teams to synchronize material availability with production and customer demand.
  • Champion effective use of enterprise systems to improve planning accuracy, reporting reliability, and execution discipline.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships, driving accountability, performance tracking, and improvement initiatives.
  • Review operational performance and cost trends to identify opportunities for sustainable efficiency and quality gains.
  • Establish benchmarks and performance indicators to support informed, data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional problem‑solving to address workflow gaps and improve coordination between departments.
Requirements
  • Post‑secondary education in supply chain, business, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Supply chain–related certifications considered an asset but not required.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience across supply chain functions such as sourcing, inventory, and distribution.
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing within an operational or supply chain environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, analyze complex issues, and implement practical solutions.
  • Comfortable operating in a growing organization where priorities, scope, and processes continue to evolve.
  • Experience supporting operations within a regulated or safety‑focused environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP platforms and common business software tools.
  • Clear communicator with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and shared outcomes.
Remuneration
  • $110,000 - $120,000 + benefits
