Job summary

A leading tire manufacturer in Montreal seeks a Supply Chain Analyst to manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and optimize inventory control. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in logistics or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in SAP and strong analytical skills are preferred. Candidates with automotive industry experience and a passion for cars are encouraged to apply. The role includes light travel (10%).

  • Auto enthusiast is a plus but not required.

JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Analyst

REPORTS TO: Logistics Director

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for serving as the liaison between North America Supply Chain and its suppliers, researching fair prices, negotiating good deals and monitoring/tracking inventory stock in warehouses using tools such as SAP.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Meet the Management Plan $ sales, unit sales and profit objectives.
  • Manage the planning of physical distribution of company products to meet company and customer requirements. This includes inventory planning & control, product availability. Markets include US and Canada Replacement, Motorsport.
  • Manage the stock balancing between the warehouses.
  • Lead the distribution initiatives with other departments and Logistics Providers (3PLs).
  • Meet KPI’s on inventory levels and customer fill rates, distribution KPIs and Payments.
  • Manage relationships and information with sales, customers, Logistics Providers and Sector Logistics.
  • Issue the logistic, MIRS logistic, Overage, Overstock graph, Slow mover, Phase-out stock, Overstock, KPI fill rate, KPI OTIF, KPI Non-conformities, APVS Mir’s, MIRS S&OP, and new reports periodically throughout the week, month or year.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • College degree preferred in logistics, business, engineering or supply-chain management
  • Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in related role
