Member Advisor Summer Student- Swift Current

Our Member Advisors play a vital role in supporting our members by providing friendly, knowledgeable service across our branches and digital channels. As a summer student, you'll gain hands-on experience in financial services, strengthen your communication and problem‑solving skills, and be part of a supportive team dedicated to helping members succeed.

What You’ll Do
  • Be the first point of contact for our members—greeting them warmly and helping them with day‑to‑day banking needs.
  • Respond to member inquiries by offering clear advice and guidance on a full range of financial products and services.
  • Promote and support members with both cash and non‑cash products and services, identifying opportunities to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Utilize digital banking solutions to make banking easier, more efficient, and more convenient for members.
  • Supporting our members, connecting them to the right Credit Union products and services that meet their needs.
  • Travel within the region as required (up to 200 km), following Innovation’s Travel Practice Guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-year full‑time attendance at a high school or post‑secondary institution and will be returning to an applicable education program on a full‑time basis for the Fall 2026 school term
  • Working towards an education program that is applicable to our organization such as Commerce, Business, Agribusiness, Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Engineering, etc.
  • A people person who possesses excellent communication skills.
  • Someone who values Accountability, Integrity, and Respect.
  • Detail‑oriented and risk aware, contributing to the safeguarding of our company’s assets and reputation.
  • Proficient in digital literacy, including (but not limited to) critical thinking, problem solving and navigation using digital solutions.
  • Use and comfortability with a variety of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, Power BI).
